Who is a part of ASUOP?

All students who pay the ASUOP fee are a part of ASUOP! However, those who hold either elected or appointed positions are ASUOP officers. For more information view our Senate & Departments tabs to meet our amazing team!

How can I become an ASUOP Officer?

ASUOP consists of both elected and appointed officers. 


Elected positions such as “President” are decided during school wide elections.


Appointed positions such as “Director of Finance” are hired positions. These positions are listed on Handshake and require a completed application for consideration. Job listings of vacant positions are posted on Handshake throughout the year. Make sure to keep an eye out for future openings. 

When & where are the ASUOP Senate meetings held?

ASUOP Senate meetings are open to the public and students are encouraged to attend! The meetings are held every Monday from 5:30pm - 7:30pm and are located in the Don & Karen DeRosa University Center, Room 211. For more information, please view our Senate tab.

Are the ASUOP Cabinet meetings open to the public?

Unfortunately, our cabinet meetings are not open to the public. Cabinet meetings are closed sessions & students are not able to attend. As mentioned above, only Senate meetings are open for students.

How do I contact ASUOP?

Feel free to email any of our officers or stop by our office. You can find senator and cabinet email addresses under our Senate & Departments tabs. Our office is located on the second floor of the Don & Karen DeRosa University Center on our Stockton campus. Turn left once up the stairs and pass the lair in order to reach us! We are open Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.

How do RSO's request room's & register for events?

How do I view past ASUOP documents? 

All past Senate minutes, Bills, Resolutions, Memos, Judicial Proclamations, & our Constitution/Bylaws are available to the public. In order to view these documents click here. You can also access this information by going to our "Archive"tab".
